Space, Special Forces, Aliens, Galactic conflict and a mission gone wrong; Precursor Revenants delivers it all.
(Precursor revenants) …a cool balance between raw alien fighting action, anthropological decoding of cultures, and enticing glimpses into the game of galactic politics.
(The Tango) Cain Hopwood brings small town Australia to life in a story about a dance contest in which the participants are about to learn a whole lot more about each other, and themselves. The writing style is funny, down-to-earth, and you'll warm to the characters as if you'd known them for years.
Don't be fooled by the title, The Tango is more than just a floorshow. Mr Hopwood's book takes us on a enticing journey of hope, rejection and life in the Australian country. Read it and rejoice.
I just started rereading Tango and I'm instantly drawn in. Cain paints the small town culture and characters vividly, with economy and humour. A great read.
Cain V. Hopwood’s Precursor Revenants combines zero gravity battles, alien technology and occasionally skiing. It’s space opera, but with down to earth, relatable characters, giving a new and welcome twist to the genre.
